Our Try-It/Skills Camp Event is an introductory lacrosse experience for kids age 7 through 8th grade, who have never played before but are thinking they might want to, and for our current players that would like to get a stick in their hand and play around for awhile! Upon arrival, kids will be introduced to lacrosse basics, proper form, mechanics, and safety. The clinic is run by experienced lacrosse coaches from the Lightning Youth Lacrosse and High School Programs.New to lacrosse? It is the perfect opportunity to try out this fun, exciting, and fast-paced sport before committing to a season! No experience or equipment necessary. Just bring tennis shoes and a water bottle.
Parents are welcome to hang out or drop off your kiddo and pick them up at the completion of the event! Please reach out if you have any questions. We look forward to meeting you while your kiddo tries the "FASTEST GAME ON 2 FEET!"
