Curious about working with clay? This one-time workshop is a hands-on introduction to both wheel throwing and hand building — perfect for beginners or anyone who’s ever wanted to get their hands dirty and try something new. Participants will learn the basics of centering clay on the wheel, shaping simple forms, and exploring hand building techniques like coiling and slab construction. The session includes step-by-step demos and one-on-one guidance, so everyone can move at their own pace while experimenting with form and texture. By the end, you’ll have a deeper appreciation for the pottery process and a few handmade pieces to keep or glaze in a future session.
No experience necessary — wear old clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn!
