Try Adapted Skating!Join us at the Oval in the Pomeroy Sport Centre for a free special opportunity to experience adapted skating—an inclusive, fun-filled event designed for participants of all ages and abilities!
Before we launch the new Try-It: Adapted Learn-to-Skate Program later this October, we’re inviting the community to come out and give skating a try. Whether you're living with accessibility needs or you're curious about trying our accessible skating equipment, we’ve got a spot on the ice just for you.
What to Expect:
• Supportive and trained coaches
• Adaptive skating equipment provided
• A welcoming, safe, and inclusive atmosphere
• No prior experience needed
This event is made possible through a partnership between Northern Adapted Sports Association, Fort St. John Speed Skating Club, BC Speed Skate, and the Recreation Department.
