Canton Comedy Boom and Imposters Theater (Cleveland) are joining forces to bring more improv classes to Canton! Join us in creating a fun and educational space for improv in Canton! Your ticket covers the improv workshop and admission to our Boom Boom Improv Show at 8pm!
This is a welcoming, fun workshop for absolute beginners run by veteran performer, Marissa Leonino Lange.

You’ll play improv games and do some scenes with guidance and support from the instructor. No experience necessary.
Improv is a highly creative and spontaneous art form that requires thinking on your feet and playing well with others. Improv comedy is the art of the possible–part comedy, part theater, wholly absurd fun!

About the Instructor:
Marissa Leonino Lange has been performing and teaching improv for over 20 years. She trained at the iO Theater in Chicago and has participated in festivals and workshops including Chicago Improv Festival and Funny Women Festival. Marissa has performed with Uncle Elaine in Chicago, Washington Improv Theater in Washington, D.C., Imposters Theater in Cleveland, and Just Go With It in Akron. While studying at Oberlin College and Conservatory, Marissa was director of Sunshine Scouts and co-founder of the Oberlin College Improv Conference, the largest annual comedy event on campus. Marissa has also auditioned for television and film in Los Angeles.
