Join us for a Try Hockey For Free Day at the Bill Collier Ice Arena as part of USA Hockey’s national initiative to introduce youth to the sport of ice hockey in a fun, welcoming, no-pressure environment.
This event will take place during the Cascade Cup Pond Hockey Tournament, with a scheduled break in tournament play to give local families and visiting community members the opportunity to get kids on the ice and try hockey for free.

WHAT TO EXPECT
• Free ice time
• On-ice instruction from certified coaches and volunteers
• Basic skating and hockey skill activities
• A fun, supportive, beginner-friendly environment
• No experience required
This is a youth-focused event designed for first-time players and families curious about hockey.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
• Recommended for ages 4–9, but all youth are welcome
• Equipment will be available to borrow in limited quantities
• If available, participants are encouraged to bring:
– Helmet (hockey or bike helmet)
– Skates
– Gloves or warm mittens
