The Essendon Bushwalking Club invites you to join them on the Where are the Wombats Trail - Grade 3 (Easy to Medium) This walk is part of the Try Bushwalking Month, celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Bushwalking Victoria, the peak body representing 60+ bushwalking clubs across Victoria. Get to see a part of the Wombat State Forest, visiting an old racetrack and walking through some bushland with a welcoming group of people, who will give you a wonderful insight to their club.
DISTANCE: 14 km /Return/Loop walk that will take about four hours after including morning tea and lunch breaks
WHO IS THIS WALK FOR? A walker who has done some walking of up to two hours. The walk is relatively flat with a couple of hills .
ABOUT OUR CLUB: Essendon Bushwalking Club was formed in 1975. We are a group of likeminded people who enjoy outdoor activities in the bush areas of Victoria. We cater for a wide variety of interests and fitness levels and welcome visitors and potential new members to participate in our activities. We are a friendly bunch, who enjoy a walk while sharing knowledge and experiences. And of course, enjoy the tea, coffee and refreshments afterwards!
