The Warby Range Bushwalkers invites you to join them to explore Morgans Lookout Mt Glenrowan via Chick Hill, in the Warby Ovens National Park. This walk is part of the Try Bushwalking Month, celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Bushwalking Victoria, the peak body representing 60+ bushwalking clubs across Victoria. The walk takes us to Chick Hill for views towards the Alps and to Morgans Lookout at Mt Glenrowan for excellent views to the south and east.
DISTANCE: 11km return walk that will take 4-5hrs
WHO IS THIS WALK FOR? Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. A medium return walk, mostly along a gravel management vehicle track and bush tracks mostly with gentle ascending and descending. There is one steep section of sealed road leading to the communications towers near the start and end of the walk.
ABOUT OUR CLUB: The Warby Range Bushwalkers Club is based in Wangaratta, Northeast Victoria. A fun and friendly way to keep fit, meet new people, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Northeast Victoria and other locations throughout Australia. The Club is open to anyone and everyone who enjoys fun, fitness and friendship. Our membership ranges from young professionals, to families, and energetic retirees, with walks to suit all ages and capabilities.
