The St. Louis Blues Blind Hockey Club invites children, ages 5-12, to Try Blind Skating and Hockey for Free on Saturday, July 20 at 11:30 a.m. and Saturday, Aug. 11 at 12:30 p.m. at Centene Community Ice Center, the official practice facility of the St. Louis Blues.
Kids who have been diagnosed with a visual impairment are encouraged to sign up and try ice skating and hockey. Led by St. Louis Blues Blind Hockey Club coaches, participants will learn the fundamental skills of skating and playing hockey. A set of loaner equipment (helmet, elbow pads, glove, shin pads, skates) will be provided for all children, along with a jersey and stick for them to keep.
