Get excited for Beavercreek Parks, Recreation & Culture’s Try a Truck on Saturday, October 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the city's Municipal Maintenance Facility, 789 Orchard Lane. This event is sure to bring out the kid in everyone! Explore a variety of trucks and vehicles, including snowplows, fire trucks, police cruisers, front loaders, and more.The first hour, from 10 to 11 a.m., will be sensory-friendly, with no lights or horns. In honor of Fire Prevention Week, the Beavercreek Township Fire Department will also host an open house at the same time next door at Fire Station 61, 2195 Dayton-Xenia Road. Explore department trucks and equipment, enjoy chili from the department’s chili cook-off, and watch as Premier Health’s CareFlight makes a landing!
