Pulling Together is an event that has been hosted previously in other communities to bridge relationships by bringing together members of Indigenous community and public service. It symbolizes working together harmoniously to better understand each other through unity, respect and empathy. Ultimately, the goal is to demonstrate reconciliation and build community relations. The goal is to facilitate moving forward with Reconciliation in a good way. This event started as part of TRW in 2021 and this will be its third appearance as part of these events.
Participants will canoe together down the Assiniboine River starting at Dinsdale Park and ending at The Riverbank Discovery Centre. Life jackets and needed equipment provided. Brandon Search and Rescue will be on site to assist.
This event is part of Brandon's Truth and Reconciliation Week 2025. Please visit the BUAPC Instagram, Facebook, and Facebook Events page for more details and other events happening from Sept 29 - Oct 4, 2025. 🧡
