About this Event
Our annual Symposium, which over the years has facilitated over 700 one-to-one funding surgeries, helping to generate substantial amounts of money and support for the Cultural Sector in Northern Ireland.
This year attendees will hear directly from the Foundations on their funding priorities, gain an insight into the decision process, and all things Trusts & Foundations.
The plenary session will once again be followed by one-to-one surgeries with the Trusts and Foundations.

PLENARY (10:30-12:30)
The plenary will feature representees from the NI Funders Forum and funders on the day to discuss and give insights on the funding landscape, changes in funding practices and the realities of being a funder in the current Trusts & Foundations (T&F) climate.
This session is open to anyone who works in the arts and would like to find out more about Trusts and Foundations fundraising, even if it’s your first time or if you are a seasoned pro!
From the plenary you will:
- Find out more about these private sector entities which provide funds to support charities including the arts.
- Gain insight on the current funding landscape of these entities
- Get the opportunity to ask funders questions Have the opportunity to chat and network with others over lunch
THE SURGERIES (13:00-16:30)
This year we are delighted to have leading charitable funders joining us at the Symposium (or remotely for the surgeries where listed). Before booking, please read the funder information and visit their websites to ensure you know their key aims & objectives, and your eligibility to the trust.
BOOKING YOUR PLACE
Tickets for the full day are available for £30 + VAT for A&B NI Members and £40 + VAT for non-members.
When booking, you will be asked to select 4 funders in your order of preference for the one-to-one sessions.
You are guaranteed 2 one to one sessions but please be aware that this event will book fast and that surgeries will be allocated on a first-come, first serve basis.
We will also be hosting 1:1 fundraising sessions in the Boardroom on the day within the Crescent if you need some support on pitching and fundraising support.
