We are excited to announce that the Bass River Heritage Museum will be hosting our first ever Trunk or Treat! What is a "Trunk or Treat" you may ask? Trunk or treat is a popular alternative to trick or treating. Those wishing to give out treats set up at a designated location, and give treats out of the trunk of their vehicle, often with the vehicle decorated for the occasion (although this is not mandatory). The kids are then able to go from vehicle to vehicle to collect treats, instead of house to house.
This event will be taking place on Friday, October 31st from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the yard of the museum (5666 Highway #2, Bass River). We do ask that those wishing to set up a "trunk" to give treats out of arrive at 5:30 pm. Museum staff and volunteers will be onsite to give directions on where to park. Washroom facilities will also be available inside the museum for the duration of the event.
