Let’s have a fun and safe time together as a parish family. All are invited to attend this fun Trunk or Treat night.
We are looking for 30 cars/trucks to gather in the church parking lot on Friday, October 25th to decorate their trunks of their vehicles, and give candy to the children. As a host of a trunk, you can pass out candy, prizes, have games like bean bag toss, ring toss, and so on.
When it comes to decorating your car/truck, you can go the obvious route with pumpkins, spiders, and Halloween decorations or you can do any theme. Remember to plan your costume to go along with your decorated trunk.
DECORATE TIME at 6:00PM
Children gather in the parish hall from 6pm to 7pm for games and food. (Hot Dogs, Chips, Cookies and Juice Boxes will be available for Purchase)
Trunk or Treat Time at 7:00PM
JUDGING at 8:00PM for PRIZES
Here are some Theme Ideas to help you!
• Bible Theme (Jonah & the Whale, Noah’s Ark, Daniel in the Lion’s Den, Egyptians, Nativity Scene)
• Movie Theme (movie theater style, or any family friendly movie)
• Board Game Theme (Candy Land, Monopoly, Sorry)
• Sports Theme (Pick a team or sport)
• Disney Theme (Favorite Disney character)
• Luau Theme
• Animal Theme (Zoo, Aquarium, Pet Store, Jungle Animals)
• Era Theme (70s, 80s, 90s)
• Christmas or other Holiday Theme
• Popular Toddler Themes (Veggie Tales, Sesame Street, Nursery Rhymes, Dr. Seuss)
