Mark your calendars! Lighthouse will be hosting our annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 17 at Jefferson Elementary.But what exactly is Trunk or Treat?
It is one of our favorite fall traditions. Families decorate their car trunks with fun themes and creative designs, then kids dress up in costumes and walk from car to car collecting candy. It is a safe and family-friendly way to celebrate Halloween together as a community.
Highlights of the evening include:
Chili Cook-Off with prizes
Best Trunk prizes
Toilet Paper Mummy competition with prizes
Costume Parade
Come hang out with your classmates, eat some chili, trick or treat at the trunks, and have so much fun! This is a free event, some items available for purchase with profits going to support the Lighthouse Program.
