Luiz Cherman is the VP of Brazil Politics & Economics at Banco Itaú. Luiz Cherman has been covering Brazilian economics and politics for the past 20 years. He has been with Itau since 2008, dedicated to research for the bank’s institutional clients. Luiz studied economics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and, before joining Itaú, he was a senior economist at Citigroup and at Telefonica Group.
