This is a FREE, minimally organized, unsanctioned Fat Bike ride on the Terry Trueblood Mountain Bike Trails, 579 McCollister Blvd, Iowa City. Start and finish area will be at or near the small shelter next to the playground on the Northwest end of the lake. Riders will be sent once per minute between 9:00AM and 10:00 to ride a marked loop approximately 2 miles in length (approximate map below). Times will be recorded and a winner will be announced. Prize for winning is a TATToo*or just the great feeling that you won. *required tattoo TATT25
No registration, sign-in begins promptly at 8:45 AM. Maximum of 60 participants based on the number of minutes in one hour.
Fat Bikes only (minimum tire width 3.8 inches).
You are responsible for you, this is a free event meant to be fun. No facilities, food, water or any other amenities will be provided. No haters, no litigious people and no toxically competitive people allowed, there are plenty of USAC races for that type.. Trails will be open to the public during the event, be nice.
