About this Event
Five years after launching a national effort to address gender and racial discrimination in healthcare, the Equity Now team continues to raise awareness, provide support, and create tools to make healthcare safe for all.
On June 6th, we will be joined by Soraya Chemaly, author of and , (and Dr. Jennifer Adams, Director of the Center for Empathy at NYU), to discuss what it means to be truly resilient in our current healthcare environment.
Together we will discuss the lessons learned, achievements, and challenges we face as we work towards a more just and safe healthcare system, and explore the actions we can take to build our collective strength and resilience.
