Based on the evidence, did the jury in this real historical trial get it right?True Crime on Trial takes a deep dive into one of Chester County's most controversial murder cases, utilizing trial transcripts, newspaper reports, and evidence from the crime scene. Starting at 6:00pm, attendees can order craft cocktails, mocktails, and delicious bites from The Social Lounge's famous scratch southern kitchen (not included in ticket.) Historians from the staff of CCHC will present the evidence and give you, the audience, a chance to reach a verdict. At the end, we'll tell you how the case actually turned out.
Tickets are $16.00, which supports the ongoing mission of the Chester County History Center. Members of CCHC receive a 20% discount with code. Food, drinks, and gratuities are NOT included in this ticket. Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable.
The Social Lounge is located at 117 E. Gay Street, West Chester, PA, 19380. Metered parking is available on nearby streets, and the nearest parking garage is located at 14 E. Chestnut Street, a couple of blocks away.
