Join Hood County native and retired criminologist, Kelli Martin, at Sweet Bakery on Fall Creek Highway Saturday September 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This is a special signing, as the owners of the bakery were classmates of Martin's at Granbury High School. They want to help support the families and get these cases solved.
Martin's family helped settle Hood County in the 1800s. During her formative years women were being murdered in Hood County, and their cases have yet to be solved. Two of her classmates were murdered; she was inspired to write this book in their honor.
So many people are new to this area and are unaware of the number of unsolved homicides in Hood County.
