Our event will be in support of Joseph's House & Shelter. This month's community open mic will feature Kiera Cronk. Kiera has loved music since she was little and music has been a huge part of her life. Music brings her happiness and joy and she loves sharing that joy with others. Musical theater is a huge passion of Kiera's, although this summer she has been focusing on her own music and songwriting. Every day she spends countless hours practicing her piano, ukulele, guitar, saxophone, and Bass guitar, writing songs. Kiera's biggest inspirations are Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, and Megan Moroney. She loves their lyrics and stage performances . Kiera's favorite type of music is country, although she has a love for rock and pop as well; there is not really a genre of music she does not enjoy. Kiera is proud to say that she is graduating Lansingburgh High School this year, and is excited to start her music journey after graduating.
Come hear Kiera and bring a song to share in the Open Mic – or just come enjoy some live music, all for a good cause!
Troy Unplugged is a family-friendly monthly open mic music venue open to all ages, genres and skill levels.
Our aim is to build a local network of singer-songwriters and musicians desiring to hone their craft in an encouraging, family-friendly, community setting.
Troy Unplugged takes place on the last Friday evening of each month during Troy Night Out in downtown Troy, New York.
Sign-up is at 7 PM to 7:30 PM / Show begins at 7:30 / Each performer is limited to 2 songs or 10 minutes / Sign up is first come first serve. You are welcome to use our Roland studio piano, acoustic/electric Takamine guitar, and acoustic drums and percussion.
