Bill Malcolm, a wildflower enthusiast and student of Norma Wallman, will lead us on a walk to identify spring ephemerals, especially yellow and white trout lily. The preserve has gobs of them, as well as other spring wildflowers (hepatica, cut leaf toothwort, squirrel corn, dutchman's breeches, and bloodroot)Bill would recommend bringing a copy of Wildflowers of Holliday Park by Norma Wallman for you to refer to.
