Join us for an eclectic evening of music performed by a young up-and-coming Manchester ensemble. With a programme inspired by Andalusia and Sephardic folk song, we’ll be led across Europe and the Middle East through moving storytelling and song that celebrate the beauty of life in the face of adversity.
Manchester Troubadour is a young ensemble combining folk, medieval and classical genres with a focus on the connections between cultures. Their first project, Songs of Love and Separation, combined medieval Occitan troubadour music with Serphardic, Muslim and Catholic songs from over the border in Andalusia.
