We have curated a boutique Night Market, a strict "Pocket Swap" zone, and a massive lounge for hanging out. Leave the wagon at home. Bring a tote, grab a drink, and connect with the best plant community in RVA
The venue features two distinct zones for the perfect flow:
The Night Market (Main Hall): Explore a focused selection of 5 to 7 premium vendors. Find rare specimens, artisan pottery, and professional supplies without the overwhelming crowds of a full-scale swap.
The Social Lounge (Barrel Room): Grab a seat at the communal tables and settle in. This is the heart of the event: share a meal, show off new finds, and connect with the community.
The Activity: The Macro ID Team Challenge
Forget the lectures. A competitive scavenger hunt will test collective plant knowledge. Zoomed-in "Macro" photos of rare and common plants are hidden throughout the venue: check the corners, the walls, and the vendor tables.
• Form a team with friends or table neighbors.
• Grab a game card at the entry station and work together to identify every specimen.
• This is a team effort. The group with the most correct answers will be crowned the Macro ID Champions.
• The Prizes: We are competing for a $30 Triple Crossing Gift Card (1st Place) and a $15 Gift Card (2nd Place) plus serious bragging rights.
Trading Rules: "Pocket Swap" Only
To keep the lounge comfortable and the aisles clear, the event follows a strict Pocket Swap policy.
• Accepted: Bring plants and cuttings that fit in a single tote bag, basket, or small box.
• The Free Table: This is the designated zone for all drop-offs and community sharing.
• Prohibited: Leave wagons, carts, and large table setups at home. The floor is for moving and mingling.
Dining and Refreshments
The full kitchen at Triple Crossing will be open throughout the night. The pizza is a local favorite and highly recommended. Supporting the venue is what allows these community events to remain free and accessible.
Vendor Application Information
The event is intimate with a strict limit of 5 to 7 vendors.
The Process:
1. Apply: Submit an application for a blind jury review. Selection is based on passion, expertise, and variety.
2. Approve: 10 Accepted vendors receive notification via email on Fridays.
3. Book: Once approved, vendors receive a payment link. Spots are first-come, first-served.
