Learn to dance two very popular dance styles you won’t want to miss, the Cha Cha and the Bachata!
The vibrant and colorfully tangy tart Cha Cha is a playful and flirtatious dance known for its vibrant and playful energy, rhythmic footwork, and sharp, quick movements. Although it is traditionally danced to up-beat music with a Latin or Cuban beat, today it is common to dance the Cha Cha to many current styles of music including Top 40, Pop and R&B.
The juicy sweet bachata is often described as a more sensual and romantic dance to the salsa and it is easy to learn. Bachata is a social couple dance with a lead and follow that can be performed in open, semi-closed, or closed position. The bachata is easy for beginners to learn as it is slower and emphasizes the connection between partners with the expression of emotions through movement. There's less spinning, the music is easier to hear the counts, and when you do spin.
So come on out and spice things up by adding a summery twist of juicy sweet and tangy tart to your evening! FREE Dance lessons are 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with Rolands Dance Studio. 18 and up welcome until 10 p.m. No cover before 9:00 p.m. and $15.00 at 9:00 p.m.
