Welcome to Tropical Fever!
An event showcasing beautiful music from all over the world, focusing on Latin, Afro and Afro-latin sounds designed to make you want to dance and uplift your soul.
The night will be hosted by the likes of: DJ Migs or Miguel, a London born Portuguese selector with many years experience. Migs has a large collection of Latin and classic vinyl records and seamlessy mixes them together with exquisite selection skills. A DJ who was part of the pirate radio movement in the late 90s and 2000s as a regular on Cool FM and other key stations which helped define the rave scene and the music scene today.
Alongside Miguel we find Bubz, a long-term selector, host, producer and creative mind behind various events and careers in the music scene. Bubz has DJed all over the UK, Spain, Canada and more, putting together sounds from around the globe with savvy perfection. Often described as someone who defies cultural borders and has a great interest in the power of culture and global musical movements. (Instagram: bubzdjbubz)
This is our London edition! Resurfacing after many years, originally started back in 2015, the organisers decided to re-launch Tropical Fever in Birmingham with it's sister brand, Dub Fever at Section 57. Now we are ready to take over our hometown in a venue we used to party in as teenagers. Expect great atmosphere, good community and friendly people and above all, GREAT MUSIC.
