Hey Folks, Our first summertime gig is coming up at the Harp Inn, on Saturday afternoon, June 29. Granted we were hoping to score the big Fiscal New Year's Eve gig, but it was shut down by the California Coastal Commission because of permitting issues: something about accountants being a threatened species. Onward and upward as they say. What can you look forward to at this gig? How about hanging with friends and strangers in a great place, laughing and singing, and sharing a pint or two while an Irish Americana super group, pulling members from some of today's most talented Irish bands. Heck, Matt is in like a half a dozen bands alone, not to mention Chris and Rob, whose musical resumés are as long as a Chris Pierce sustained vocal note, what we in the business call a Fermata. Well, when I say "we in the business" I mean we in the business who have been trained classically and can remember Italian terms used in musical notations. Of course, to be honest, I had to look up Fermata, which I would have thought was a sports car. Putting all that aside, and getting back to the original subject, which was..... oh yeah, inviting you all down to the Harp Inn for some Saturday afternoon music. Please come on down, You can drive your Sonata, Cadenza, Prelude, Jazz, Encore, Accord (or A Chord, as I like to say), Rondo, Forte, or Tempo. Heck, you can even drop by in your REO Speedwagon, or better yet, ride up on you 1952 Vincent Black Lightning. Just get there safely. Hope to see you!
