Trooper Anthony Browne Memorial Concert

Anthony died in the Niamba ambush in 1960 while serving with The Defence Forces on a UN Peace mission in the Republic of the Congo and was the first Irish soldier to be awarded the Military Medal for Gallantry posthumously in the country since the foundation of the State.
