About this Event

The Troop 1 Paxon Cabin was built in 1924 by local community outreach programs, and resides in Lake Park, in downtown Huntington Beach, CA. It has been the sole home to the Boy Scouts of Troop 1 since it's conception. Founded in 1917, Troop 1 is widely know as the "oldest Troop West of the Mississippi River." In 1974, with help from the Lions Club of Huntington Beach, the Cabin was restored. What better way to celebration the 100th anniversary of the Paxson Cabin, than by giving it some much need renovation, 50 years later.
