*TROMBORANGA Salsa Orchestra, based in Barcelona and led by*
*Venezuelan musician Joaquín Arteaga, returns to Taiwan for a historic concert at HanaSpace Taipei*
*on Sunday, September 28th, 2025 at 6:00 PM.*
*This performance is part of the international “Vívela” tour by Tempo Iberoamericano in Japan,*
*which brings together outstanding Ibero-American cultural projects and marks Tromboranga’s*
*growing presence around the world.*
*� An International Orchestra with Its Own Identity*
*Tromboranga is made up of musicians from Venezuela, Cuba, Colombia, and Spain:*
*• Joaquín Arteaga (Venezuela): leader, percussionist, composer and arranger. The*
*visionary behind the band’s raw and authentic sound.*
*• Diego Coppinger (Cuba): lead singer, former star of Havana’s Tropicana Show,*
*winner of Buscando al Sonero.*
*• Rafa Madagascar (Colombia): pianist and arranger, responsible for the montunos that*
*connect directly with Cali and Colombian salsa tradition.*
*• Lorenzo Barriendos “El Diablo” (Venezuela): legendary producer and bassist, behind*
*iconic albums by Yordano, Franco de Vita, Guaco and El Trabuco Venezolano.*
*� A Global Legacy*
*• In Mexico, Tromboranga has gathered up to 80,000 people in Veracruz and sold out*
*auditoriums in Mexico City and Puebla.*
*• In the USA, they tour 2–3 times a year, performing at festivals and clubs in New*
*York, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles.*
*• In Puerto Rico, they recorded Huracán no me tumba with Ismael Miranda.*
*• In South Africa, they recorded Baila África in Spanish, Xhosa and Zulu, a unique*
*experience blending salsa with African tradition.*
*• In Europe, they have shined in Croatia, Benidorm, Amsterdam, London and Paris.*
*� Return to Taiwan*
*Tromboranga left a strong mark in Taiwan with their first visit in 2016. Now, in 2025, they return*
*with a bigger, more interactive show, full of new compositions, reaffirming their position as one of*
*the most important salsa and Latin jazz orchestras in the world.*
