Don’t let the nickname fool you: Trombone Shorty is much more than a horn player. A natural-born showman and New Orleans cultural icon, the Grammy Award nominee fuses jazz, pop, funk, hip-hop, and psychedelic rock in high-octane live shows and fan-favorite charts such as “Hold Up, Wait a Minute,” “Hurricane Season,” and “Tripped Out Slim.” Shorty has toured with the Red Hot Chili Peppers; collaborated with renowned artists such as Pharrell, Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson, and Ringo Star; and performed at high-profile events such as the Grammy Awards, White House celebrations, and Super Bowl LIX. Swamp rock jam band JJ Grey and Mofro join Shorty and his band, Orleans Avenue, for a freewheeling, Southern-style party that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
