Welcome to Trivia Night at Craigieburn Youth Centre!
Join us on Friday 29 November 2024 at 4:30 PM for a fun-filled evening of brain-teasing questions and friendly competition. Test your knowledge on a variety of topics and see if you have what it takes to be crowned Trivia Champions!
Don't worry if you're not a trivia expert, it's all about having a good time and enjoying the company of others.

What to expect
Who will be there?
- Other young people (aged 16-24 years)
- Youth Innovation Committee (YIC) members (aged 16-24 years)
- Hume Youth Services Staff (will be wearing staff uniform)
What will we be doing?
- We will decide team names
- You can talk to other young people
- We will have music playing in the background
- We will have different genre rounds of trivia where you can answer questions on a sheet
- We will announce the answers and scores at the end of each round
- You can go to a quiet room if you need to pray or have alone time
- We will announce the winner at the end
Will there be food?
Yes! Dinner will be provided during a break between trivia rounds. Please ensure you let us know of any dietry requirements.
How will teams be formed?
You can attend the event as a team (5-6 people), a small group (2-4) that needs more people added to your team, or as an individual that will be allocated to a team.
We will be forming teams prior to the event starting. Please let us know when registering whether you will be attending in a team, small group, or as an individual.
All members will need to register to the event
What type of genre questions will there be?
We will have a range of different genres including; Music, Movies, General Knowledge, Animals, Sports, Video Games, Celebrities, logos.
We will spin a wheel at the start of each round to decide the genre.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, you don't need to bring anything as our team will provide everything for the trivia and dinner. If you would like to bring a fidget toy or water bottle, you are welcome to.
Accessibility of Venue
Getting to the Venue
- By Car: There are lots of parking spaces outside of the venue. There are also accessible parking spaces in front of the venue.
- By Train: Craigieburn Train Station is a 1km (10 minute) walk away.
- By Bus: Plumpton Ave/Craigieburn Rd (Craigieburn) route 525, 529, 537 & 544 are a 1 minute walk away.
Entering the Venue
- There is a ramp with railing leading into the building.
- The door will be open, if there are any issues a doorbell can be pressed for assistance.
Inside the venue
- Flat and even flooring (carpet and lino).
- Accessible and Gender Neutral bathroom.
- Have quiet spaces that can be used for alone time or prayer.
- Have LED lighting (can be switched off when it is light outside).
- We have heating and cooling inside, which can be adjusted.
- For seating we have; a very large couch, school chairs (no arm rests), beanbags, ottoman seats.
