FORMAT: Triples with rules posted below.
PRIZES: CASH for some winners and other prizes dependent on number of sign-ups and your place in the playoffs bracket. Bigger prizes for teams in upper.
Cash prizes are subject to change based on number participants in each division

B 1st place: $200 and small prizes

B (Beginner) Division any gender
AFTER POOL PLAY, teams in each division will be split into an UPPER AND LOWER DIVISION with prizes for both divisions.
REFUNDS: No refunds after August 17, 2025. If the tournament is canceled due to severe weather or for another reason, everyone is entitled to a 100% refund.

Tournament Format: Pool play with Double Elimination Playoffs.
Roster: Roster maximum of 4 players
Players that start a game, must finish that game unless they are injured.
If a player leaves due to injury, he/she is finished for that match.
Scoring: All games will be played using rally scoring.
Playoffs - best 2/3 games (21, 21, 15) capped. Contenders 1 game to 25.
Tips: No open hand tips.
Double Contact: Players may double contact any first ball over (including serves) provided the ball is not held. Players may NOT double contact the second or third hits.
Let Serves: Let Serves are NOT legal. You lose the point if it the ball touches the net during your serve.
Blocking: A block is not counted as a team hit.
Foot Digs: Foot Digs are legal.
Setting Over: When the ball is set into the opponents court, the setters shoulders must be squared up (forwards or backwards) to the line of flight of the ball.
Time Outs: Each team is allowed two 30 second timeouts per game. Time out may be called prior to server receiving ball on either side of court between plays.
Side Changes: Teams should switch sides of the court after every 7 points in games to 17 or more, and every 5 points for games to 15.
Forfeit Rule: A 10 minute forfeit rule is in effect.
Single hand sets are allowed as long as the ball doesn't go over to the other side.
No Sandbagging allowed in the B division.
Director reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
