Triple Threat - Big Trouble In Little Newcastle - Breaking Battle & Hip-Hop Community Event
25th October 2025 - 10am till 7pm - Dance City Newcastle
Returning after last year's sell out event, UK & international B-boys and B-girls will battle it out to see who takes home the win! Whether you're a Hip-Hop head or new to the culture, a veteran dancer or just taking your first steps, Triple Threat is a family friendly event for everyone to enjoy.

This years event will also feature our brand new Hip-Hop Flea Market, an original art installation by North East Artist - Connor Gribben & exclusive Triple Threat merch. Dance City's café will also be catering for event with a selection of food and drinks throughout the day.
Audience Tickets -
Please note that the event is open from 10am till 7pm, but the theatre (battle space) is only available for COMPETITORS from 10am till 1pm. This is so that they have a dedicated space to focus and dance. The theatre will open for public tickets from 2pm onwards.

Battle Categories -
3 vs 3 Crew battle (40 crews maximum) 1st place prize = £1000 + trophies/prizes
1 vs 1 Footwork battle (40 dancers maximum) 1st place prize = £300 + trophies/prizes
Qualifiers for both categories will be a showcase battle format (3 vs 3 crew battle = 1 round per dancer, 1 routine allowed. 1 vs 1 footwork = 4 corners style showcase, 1 round per dancer). Judges will pick top 16 for both categories from the qualification rounds.

The venue has a strict capacity limit & you MUST purchase your battle ticket via the Eventbrite link.
Once purchased you will be given a link to our battle registration form. Please complete this immediately.
You will not be registered to battle unless you have completed the battle registration E-form.
Registration closes 24 hours before the event.
SIGN UPS ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.
You must sign up and register via Eventbrite as registration will not be available on the day of the event. Each dancer must be registered and have a ticket for the category they are competing in. Registration will close 24 hours before the event.
