In this extremely popular and fun 4 hour, small group workshop, you will be given an introduction to making a unique set of sterling silver stacking rings with a demonstration. Once the basics are covered, you'll set out on the fun part - the making!During the 4 hours, you will learn to design your own rings from scratch by choosing and designing your band styles - there are so many options available! You'll then measure your sterling silver to create 3 unique bands in your chosen style, cutting and filing to size and then applying your design skills to make something special just for you.
You can make twisted rings, textured rings, wave shaped rings, wishbone rings - whatever style ring you like! You'll also be able to make one of your three rings with a bezel set piece of sea-glass or stone. You'll have the option to add patina if you'd like contrasting rings with oxidisation or just go plain silver if that's more your style. You can twist, plait, or do something altogether different. Let your inner creator out and have fun with it! You'll be surprised how much you can learn in 4 hours!
All materials are included in the price - as well as all the tools and of course coaching required to make a set of 3 high quality rings, ready for you to take home with you at the end of the workshop. Plentiful refreshments are provided (naturally) as well as a good, healthy dose of fun!
There is an upgrade option available on the day, if you'd like to use any gemstones (opal, emerald or ruby).
Unlimited free parking is available. My workshop is accessible and I am pleased to be able to provide accessible parking, facilities and electric vehicle hook up.
Please note: The minimum age for this workshop is 14 due to the use of extreme heat and chemicals and all children must be accompanied by an adult, please.
