About this Event
Experience the full pottery process with this 3-week commitment. Learning the fundamentals of hand-building with clay, you will choose 1 of 3 potential projects; each designed to encompass the technical skills required to build and shape a unique ceramic vessel.
(Either a Large Planter, a cute Set of Mugs or a beautiful Slabbed Vase) You will learn to establish structure and strength using coils and slabs and explore pinching, paddling, attaching, sculpting and carving. This 3-week workshop will guide you through the wet & dry process and incorporate painting & glazing techniques in your final class to provide a start-to-finish experience.
Nestled in the picturesque Founders Heritage Park, Touchtree Ceramics Studio is dedicated to bringing people together to share knowledge, skills, and kindness.
