Text: Luke 24:50-53; Ephesians 1:19-23
Big Idea of the Message: Why did the disciples not protest Jesus’ departure? That’s what we do when a loved one leaves. Instead, they are filled with great joy. We truly have a friend on high, and the Ascension is a reminder of all that had been fulfilled and was to come. Jesus ascends to be the ruler of all things and He has all authority. So, we can say to all the hard and uncertain times, “Jesus reigns.”
