Big Idea of the Message: When it comes to the Holy Spirit, people tend to wrongly think of who he is and what he does, reducing him to emotionalism and spontaneity. However, the Holy Spirit is not a side character in the story of redemption; he is present from start to finish. The Spirit is an enabler who takes otherwise ordinary and spiritually stagnant things and uses them to breathe life into a dead creation. The Spirit brings faith and assurance in Christ which the believer can rely on rather than personal experiences and works.
