TRICOM Close Quarter Firearm Integration Tactics

Statistically, approximately 70% of defensive shootings occur between arms reach and 10ft. The TRICOM Close Quarter Firearms Integration Tactics course focuses on surviving deadly force encounters within close range utilizing distance management and various shooting platforms.

This training is for law enforcement, armed protective services and IPSC competition shooters wanting to improve their skills, tactics and operation in a dynamic environment.

Course note: This advanced training is open to LE / Mil, Armed Security and IPSC Black Badge holders only. All participants must be proficient with safe-handling.

The seminar will focus on:

• Dynamic movement and distance management
• Exploiting angles
• 1-handed and 2-handed shooting platforms
• Multiple threats and prioritization

All course participants will require the following for this INDOOR event:

• Operational uniform or training t-shirt and cargo pants
• Eye protection, electronic ear protection (recommended)
• Duty belt, holster, magazine pouch
• Soft body armour
• Pistol w/ minimum 3 magazines, minimum 300 rounds
• Blackhawk SERPA holsters are not permitted on the course
• All participants are responsible for their own meals, snacks and hydration
• A microwave and fridge are available on site

Government agencies may pay by invoice. We ask that all course participants are registered individually.

Brief Background

The primary instructor for this course is Chris Mandigma - a recognized authority in law enforcement training specializing in close quarter combatives. He has 15 years of experience in operational law enforcement, security and as an instructor. Chris is Canada's only TRICOM Master Instructor and instructs for multiple law enforcement agencies and has also instructed at NTOA, ISOA, and OTAB.
