The workshop will cover two main areas
- The online landscape
- Discussions on sex and consent, highlighting how online messaging influences young people's beliefs and expectations for real life relationships.
Participants will leave with insights into popular apps, filters, and support resources, as well as practical conversation starters and scripts to guide important discussions.
Jo Robertson, an experienced therapist and researcher, brings over 17 years of experience working with children, youth, and parents. Her career has included work as a trauma therapist and sex educator, and she has spent the past 7 years researching online sexual content and advocating for the regulation of illegal content online
