🎤 Calling All Tribute Vocalists! 🎶Are you ready to step into the spotlight and bring the music of legends to life? The Transit Brothers, a dynamic 10-piece band featuring a powerhouse six-piece horn section, is searching for performance-ready singers to join our tribute shows across the Midwest.
We’re looking for vocalists who can authentically capture the style, energy, and sound of legendary artists such as Huey Lewis & the News, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Chicago, Frank Sinatra, and more. Shows will consist of 30-60 minute tribute sets featuring multiple tribute acts each show, creating unforgettable experiences for audiences.
What We’re Looking For:
• Specialized singers (Male & Female) ready to perform full tribute sets dedicated to specific artists (e.g., a Huey Lewis & the News tribute, a Stevie Wonder tribute, a Chicago tribute, or a Frank Sinatra tribute).
• Vocalists who can faithfully capture the essence of these artists, including their vocal style, stage presence, and performance energy.
• Singers with the passion and professionalism to deliver unforgettable tribute performances with a live band.
About the Transit Brothers:
We are a high-energy, 10-piece band with a six-piece horn section, known for electrifying live performances. Our tribute shows honor the music of iconic artists, delivering authentic and powerful concert experiences that leave audiences in awe.
Audition Details:
• Date: February 27, 2025 staring at 7:30 p.m.
• Location: Sophia’s Banquet Center at 1519 Oak Street, Wyandotte, MI 48192.
• What to Prepare:
o 1-2 songs in the style of an artist you feel most connected to (suggestions: Huey Lewis, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Chicago, Frank Sinatra, etc.).
o A USB flash drive with your backing tracks you will sing to.
• We will not be collecting Resumes, performances videos, media kits, links, CDs/mp3s, Playbills.
Audition Format:
• In-person auditions are highly preferred, as they allow us to better evaluate your stage presence and live performance abilities.
• Zoom auditions may be provided for those unable to attend in person, though in-person auditions will be prioritized.
