This iconic instrument has been heard in Jazz since the 50’s when it was popularised by the legends such as Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, Big John Patton, Richard ‘Groove’ Homes and made popular today by Joey DeFrancesco and bands such as Soulive, Medeski Martin & Wood.
