The Preservation of Jazz Monday Night Music Series, Tributes, and The HUG Detroit community proudly presents its 12th annual **Coat and Blanket Drive** alongside a captivating benefit concert, *"Out of the Mouth of Women: A Tribute to the Detroit Queens of Jazz."* This unforgettable evening will take place at **Aretha’s Jazz Café**, with **two showtimes: 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM**.
The event celebrates the legacy of Detroit’s most influential female jazz artists, featuring powerful performances by **Sky Covington** and three other dynamic jazz talents. Accompanied by **Pamela Wise Harrison on piano** and **Gayelynn McKinney on drums**, the tribute will highlight the strength, artistry, and contributions of Detroit’s jazz queens.###
**A Night of Music, Warmth, and Giving**The HUG Detroit Coat & Blanket Drive invites attendees to donate **new or gently used coats and blankets** to support local families and individuals during the cold winter months. For those unable to donate items, **love donations** will also be accepted, with proceeds benefiting Detroit-area shelters and outreach programs.“Jazz embodies the soul of community and resilience," says Nicole Freeman, event organizer.
