Bethany Children's Home annual Tribute Dinner aims to honor dedicated volunteers, donors, alumni, and community partners. The evening will start with a cocktail hour followed by dinner and the program. We will have a silent auction throughout the evening with experiences, jewelry and more up for bid!Free parking is available and formal attire is recommended. This is a 21+ event.
This year’s dinner will raise funds for the construction of a new outdoor recreational complex for the youth at Bethany. This complex will replace our old courts that were built in 1941 and are currently cracking and buckling. The construction will include brand-new basketball, tennis and pickleball courts.
Youth who come to Bethany have experienced some form of trauma whether that be homelessness, physical/sexual abuse, trafficking or neglect. At Bethany we strive to give youth the resources they need to overcome and to continue to grow in their journey. Not only does Bethany offer our youth therapeutic services but we also have a designated team to plan and coordinate recreational activities for our youth like art, music, and sports.
It is essential for young minds to be active and creative for psychological development, but it also provides an outlet for our youth to express themselves in a different way.
This outdoor recreational complex offers a safe space for the youth at Bethany to play and to just be kids. We strive to provide our youth with the resources they need to build a brighter future.
