My Own Summer – A Tribute to Deftones
Formed in 2012 by diehard Deftones fans from Denver, Colorado Springs, and Boulder, My Own Summer was built on a shared mission: to perform Deftones music with precision, passion, and respect.
Over the years, we’ve shared the stage with national and world-class acts including American Head Charge, Motograter, Crazy Town, Soulfly, and Nile. One of our most memorable moments was having MTV’s Headbangers Ball host Riki Rachtman emcee a show for us at Denver’s legendary Herman’s Hideaway. We've been fortunate to play AEG and LiveNation ticketed venues, as well as independent theaters across the region.
Named one of Denver Westword’s Top 8 Tribute Bands of 2018, My Own Summer has flown out for select shows in multiple states. These days, our appearances are rare but meaningful—built around gathering passionate fans for powerful, unforgettable performances.
At the heart of it all, we just want to bring people together through the music we love.
