Tribal Dance is a gathering of dancers from many places, coming together to reflect, heal, and release with gratitude the year that has passed, while welcoming the new one with our intentions, visions, and inspirations. It is a chance to celebrate unity through our uniqueness.
This year’s Tribal Dance is inspired by the wisdom, culture, and art of MONGOLIA.
The workshop will weave together essential 5Rhythms® teachings, two dancing ceremonies, and some surprise additions to the program.
The 5Rhythms® — Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness — guide us to be rooted, centered, powerful, visionary, and in love.
On December 31st, Silvija will lead a Dance Pilgrimage, and on January 1st Thierry will offer a Tree Ceremony.
These rituals are potent vessels for setting intentions, focusing the mind, and opening the space of timelessness where our embodied consciousness can expand. Ceremonies like these, especially at meaningful thresholds such as the New Year, are deeply rooted in our human DNA.
Silvija Tomčik has been teaching 5Rhythms® since 2001, offering everything from weekly classes to international retreats. Trained by Gabrielle Roth in Waves and Heartbeat, she also served on the Teacher Training Staff with Jonathan Horan (2013–2020).
Author of WAVES: Voice and Vision (2018), Silvija blends clarity, imagination, humor, and wisdom with a rich variety of music. Her grounded, inspiring presence invites dancers to discover the freedom of their own unique movement.
We start on Monday, 17:30 and end on Friday, 13:00 (lunch 13:15).
The workshop is led in English.
Prerequisites: 20 hours of Waves level
This workshop counts as a 5 days Waves towards the 5Rhythms Teacher Training
WORKSHOP PRICES
Full price 380 Euro.
70 early bird tickets available: 330 Euro
Price for 5R Teachers and Spaceholders: 320 Euro
Working Price: 170 Euro.
All tickets include a non-refundable deposit of €100.

We are happy to invite you again to the JUFA Sport Resort Leibnitz where we will have the whole venue for our tribe exclusively. The building has a very natural and pleasant ambience and offers a spa area. There are many different options for your accommodation and food, please contact us for more info. We will be organizing a shuttle from Vienna Airport and City to our dance venue.

Full board starts with dinner on the first day and ends with lunch on the last day. NO half board option possible

TRAVEL
This year no shuttle will run from Vienna or Vienna Airport. We recommend traveling via Graz Airport or by train from Vienna with further options like car rental or taxi available. We can also support you in finding each other to share the ride.
