Join us for an intimate concert where classical meets jazz, world music flows into improvisation, and poetry lingers between the notes. Piano prodigy Sem Kramer is joined by cellist Qusai Naim and percussionist Alper Kekeç for a journey through original compositions, classical reworks, and rhythmic improvisations. Expect a moving, playful and genre-crossing evening – with occasional poetic interludes by India Zahra.

🎹 Sem Kramer is a self-taught pianist whose work blends technical precision with a strong improvisational voice. He started playing piano at age four and performs an improvisational blend of classical and jazz, letting each concert unfold in the moment. His shows range from intimate and emotional to lively and danceable, guided by the energy in the room. Recently, he has performed across Europe and Canada, sharing music rooted in real emotion and connection.
🥁 Alper Kekeç, master of rhythm and resonance, draws on a lifetime of percussion traditions, from Turkish darbuka to West African djembe, Persian frame drum to Cajon. A Conservatory graduate, recording artist, and educator at Codarts and Amsterdam Conservatory, he has shared stages with icons like Hüsnü Şenlendirici, Eric Vloeimans, and Drums United. Whether with the Holland Symfonie Orkest or the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble, his playing bridges continents and traditions.
🎻 Qusai Naim brings a deep-rooted classical training, honed at the Syrian Opera House and throughout the Arab world, where he performed both as a soloist and ensemble musician. Since relocating to the Netherlands, he’s enchanted audiences at Concertgebouw, Muziekgebouw, Paradiso, TivoliVredenburg, Grachtenfestival, and beyond, weaving Arabic, Turkish, and jazz inflexions into every note he plays.
