The Wattlyn Wolves have been asked to organise a fundraiser through one of our council members (Graham) who didn't hesitate to help.Tri Services has directly helped him in more ways than we can mention in a reasonable length of post. They offer support with housing , furnishings, peer to peer support along with professional help.
This fundraiser will be held in Harriseahead at the Tri Services and Veterans Support Centre. Registered charity 1159599 veterans retreat the weekend of the 17/18 August. Gates will be open from the 16th to arrive and set up. More details will be posted within the next fortnight.
The event is aimed to be both Western and Eastern battles. This will include main battles, weapon demonstrations, potentially duels, kiddie vike and saga's.
For the mead makers amongst you there will be veteran honey available. Might be worth preordering as it will go quick.
