Raise the Bar’s 2nd Annual Tri Harder for Hunger TriathlonThis time of year reminds us how important it is to care for our community, and Raise the Bar is proud to play a small role in that effort. Our 2nd annual Tri Harder for Hunger Triathlon supports the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry, a vital resource for families and individuals in our own backyard.
As we head into the winter and holiday season, the need for food assistance grows significantly. Many local families face increased financial strain, and the pantry sees a rise in requests for support. Entry into this event is **FREE** with a bag of non-perishable food donations. Every item collected goes directly to the pantry to help keep their shelves stocked with essentials—canned goods, fresh foods, kid-friendly items, and holiday staples.
Food Items Most in Need:
- Can Yams
- Gravy and Broth - All Varieties
- Boxed Mash Potatoes
- Bag/Box Rice
- Baking Items - Cake Mix, Cookie Mix, Icing, Oil, Sugar, Flour
- Can Pumpkin
- Evaporated and Condensed Milk
Last year, together, we donated over 600 pounds of food. This year, we’re setting our sights even higher with a goal of 1,000+ pounds to support local families during a season that can be especially challenging.
By participating—whether you're competing, cheering, or contributing—you’re directly helping neighbors who might otherwise go without. Every mile you row, every minute you bike, and every lap you complete helps fuel meaningful impact beyond our gym walls.
