We're preparing for the 37th year of our Companion Walk for Animals! Once again, the theme will be Woofstock, so dust off your bell bottoms. The Companion Walk is one of Tri-County Humane Society's key fundraisers for homeless animals.***
How to Participate
Step 1: Register at www.tricountyhumanesociety.org/walk! Your Woofstock registration fee, as well as any additional funds you raise, help support the thousands of homeless animals Tri-County Humane Society cares for every year!
Registration is $35, and you will receive:
* 1 limited-edition Companion Walk T-shirt (only offered through registration - you MUST register to get this T-shirt)
* A TCHS water bottle sticker
* $10 in tickets to our food stand
Registration is not required to fundraise or participate in the walk. You must register by Aug. 25 to receive the T-shirt.
Step 2: Raise money! Fundraise for a chance to win groovy prizes - but more importantly, fundraise for our animals! The top three fundraisers will each receive a prize, and anyone raising more than $300 will be entered into a drawing to receive a grand prize. You can raise money online with a Facebook fundraising page or GiveMN.org fundraising page - just be sure to include Woofstock somewhere in your title. Prefer to ask people in person? Simply print our Woofstock Companion Pledge Form and bring it, and your donations raised, along with you to the walk!
Step 3: Attend the walk on Sept. 13th! There will be vendors, kids' activities including a bouncy house, costume contests for pets and people, food, and, of course, a walk. Animals are welcome – but not required – to attend!
