Tri Color Figure Drawing Workshop
Instructor: Juliette Aristides
2 Days, Sept. 3rd and 4th, 2021
10:00 am - 5:00 pm
$599.00 USD workshop fee
Experience Classical Training with master artist Juliette Aristides. Join Juliette for a full two day immersion in figure drawing, whether you are a beginner looking to try something new, or an experienced artist interested in Classical training.
Explore the stages of a technique called Tres-Crayons, a drawing technique made popular by the artist Peter Paul Rubens.
It utilizes 3 colors to achieve a subdued and lifelike color theme throughout the drawing.
During our time, we will focus on drawing and placement of large value masses as these elements hold the power and personality within a drawing. We will look back at art history to discuss palette, the careful management of edges and treatment of light. Juliette Aristides will provide frequent demos and break down the process of drawing into clear and consecutive steps. We will have lively conversations, critiques and individual instruction, each session will be informative and fun!
This is a life changing event, one you will not want to miss…learning a historic technique seldom taught in the US.
